Has anyone here traveled through Charlotte Douglas International Airport recently? I am curious about what the experience is like, especially for someone visiting for the first time.
I have heard that the airport can get pretty busy, particularly during peak travel hours, so I am wondering how early people usually arrive for their flights. Is two hours enough for a domestic departure, or is it better to allow more time?
I would also love to hear about the Charlotte Douglas International Airport layout. Are the concourses easy to navigate, or does it take a while to get from security to certain gates? If you have a short connection, how much time would you personally recommend?
Another thing I am interested in is the food and seating situation. Are there good options for grabbing a quick meal, or is it better to eat before arriving?
