Can People Search Air Canada New York Office in USA Journey Assistance Support Needed? Airline travelers who have trouble navigating the airport or that are traveling with equipment and support that require assistance or accommodations may need to communicate specific flights and departure airport arrangements ahead of time. Customer Service can talk to travelers about what procedures and requirements are involved when requesting eligible assistance support and what information might be necessary to confirm special support arrangements. Since some support needs require preparation in advance of travel, passengers should not wait until the day of their flight to communicate and make arrangements where possible. Those flying with approved travel aid equipment, such as a wheelchair, should contact specific airlines to understand what procedures are in place for transporting those items. Families with children may also have questions about their needs when making arrangements with airlines and specific airports.
