Crossroads Bait and Tackle Fish Report > Heavy Fall Action
Heavy Fall Action

Oct 8, 2014

I have been heading out around sun up at 630AM and many days catching stripers right across the river from Cashman Public ramp, and going as far up river as the chain bridge. A lot of action with a lot of schoolies however a couple nice fish are mixed in. One angler reported hooking one he just couldnt turn. There are heavy feeds right under the birds, some days theres is so much bait and action its tough keeping up with our eyes in the sky. I've been hitting them on many different lures with a lot of topwater or very shallow sub surface hard plastics. If you like soft plastic go with the ark shiner Fin-S or Slug-go with a light jig head. I hope you all get a chance to get a few more trips out on the water, but when you do need someone to Winterize and Shrink-Wrap your boat think Crossroads. Great Prices and Professional Service on all fall services.
