To know about how to set up Netgear Wi-Fi extender, start by connecting the home router to the extender and launch the web browser on your device. Now, visit www.mywifiext.net, and with this, Netgear installation assistant will display. Follow the instructions properly to connect the extender to your Wi-Fi network Netgear_ext SSID. After this, unplug the extender, move to a new location between the router and area with the poor Wi-Fi signal, and plug the extender into the electrical outlet. If the Netgear router LED doesn’t blink green or amber, plug the extender into an outlet closer to the router and try again. By moving the computer to test the new extended to the area with a poor router Wi-Gi signal. The last step is to plug the extender into an electrical outlet and wait for LED to light green. It isn't constantly important to know your router's IP address. Devices can detect the router by its name (SSID) whenever those devices have to go online. To connect to a Linksys IP address, open a web browser, move to the address bar, and type http://192.168.1.1/ in it. Then, log in to the administrator console of the router and access its configuration window. If the router is not using the 192.168.1.1 address, it could be 192.168.0.1, 192.168.2.1, or something entirely different. If you can't connect to IP 192.168.1.1, there are a few things you can try to get reconnected. Ensure that you are connected to the same network that the router is on. The issue may lie with the router itself, so you can try to reset your router. Read more linksys routers problems
