Algo trading, also known as Algorithmic trading. It's an approach to execute orders with pre-programmed automated trading instructions accounting for variables like price, time and volume.
Algorithmic trading(automated trade black-box trading, simply known as algo trading) is the act of using computers which are programmed to follow a sequence of instructions to place an order in order to earn profits at a rate and frequency that would be impossible for human traders.
Although you are able to create your own algorithm and use it to create buy or sell signals manual intervention is required to make orders, since complete automation isn't permitted to retail traders.
