In Marne-la-Vallée, close to Paris, there is a family-friendly theme park resort called Disneyland Paris. It is around 10 kilometres east of Paris's centre. The hotel first opened its doors as Euro Disney Resort in April 1992. In 1994, it changed its name to Disneyland Resort Paris.
