The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized the prescription drug generic for Lyrica to treat adult patients with fibromyalgia, diabetic nerve pain, spinal cord injury pain, and pain following shingles. In patients with epilepsy who take one or more medications for seizures and are at least one month old, LYRICA (pregabalin) is also recommended to treat partial onset seizures.
