Fall has here, and the leaves are getting ready for the camera in many areas. Other great sites to visit in October give a little more breathing room following the departure of summer crowds, even if you'll still have to deal with tourists looking for fall foliage in certain locations. It is worthwhile to visit Giza if only to view the Great Sphinx, Khafre's Pyramid, the Pyramids of Dahshur, and of course, the Pyramids of Giza. If you want to save money when travelling, this is one of the best places to vacation in October.
