See? Simple and effective and I haven't mentioned by product once which is the key to good sales. Don't mention your product at all until you have got the reader interested because they simply won't look at your mail.
But why? Well, a customer who is looking for new tyres will already know what they're after and they would have searched for it. By searching, they may find your garage or they may not but they are actively looking and therefore are a more fickle customer. They will try a number of tactics and a number of different garages to get their tyres.
We're not going after these people, we are going for those that don't even realise they need our service - we're going for the passive buyer which we will then convert into active.
