The debate over “do penguins have knees?” is a curious one. While penguins do have knees, they are not externally visible due to their unique anatomy and the positioning of their leg bones. Penguins' knees are located within their bodies, hidden beneath layers of feathers and muscle. Their short, stout legs are adapted for swimming rather than walking, giving the impression that they lack knees altogether. Despite their appearance, penguins' knees function much like those of other birds, enabling them to move with agility both in water and on land. Thus, while hidden, penguins indeed possess knees crucial for their mobility.
