I recently decided to take care of my health and review my diet. There are tons of tips on the Internet about what to eat and what to avoid. But it's all so confusing! I understand that I need less sugar and fat, more fiber, but how can I put this into practice? I want a more scientific approach. I saw that there are many books on nutrition, but I don't know where to start. Maybe someone has already read good books for beginners that help build a balanced diet without strict diets? Recommend something accessible and understandable, but with a scientific basis.

Great question! I was also looking for a simple guide to proper nutrition and found a great list of books that helped me. I especially want to recommend "Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy". It is not just a book with tips, but a real guide on how to eat wisely, based on science. If you're interested, here's a link to a full list of books for beginners: https://booksrun.com/blog/best-nutrition-books-for-beginners/ . It contains books written by professional nutritionists and scientists. The books don't offer strict diets, but teach you to understand how our body works and how to best build your diet. I recommend starting with this list - it will be easier to figure out what exactly is right for you.
