Has anyone else found the Illinois Bar Exam prep to be way more intense than they expected? I was working a full-time job while studying, and honestly, I thought I had it all under control at first. But once I hit the last month, it felt like I was drowning in material. I had to cut back my work hours just to focus. I’m curious, did anyone else experience that overwhelming feeling as the exam date approached? How did you manage balancing everything? I wish I had started prepping earlier, to be honest.

Yeah, that sounds familiar! I think the stress really kicks in when you realize just how much you need to cover. I’ve been there, and one thing that really helped me was breaking down the subjects into smaller chunks and using a strict study schedule. Also, I relied a lot on looking at past exam stats to keep my expectations in check. If you haven’t already, check out the illinois bar exam statisticsillinois bar exam statistics . It can give you an idea of what pass rates look like, which I found reassuring in some weird way. I also took weekends off, which was a life-saver for my sanity.
