Nitrates, commonly used to treat chest pain or angina, also relax blood vessels by increasing nitric oxide levels. When taken together, the combined effect can lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure, which can result in dizziness, fainting, heart attack, or stroke. Therefore, the combination of Vigora and nitrates is contraindicated for safety reasons.
