Issues printing checks, invoices, or saving as PDF? The PDF and Print Repair Tool, part of the QuickBooks Tool Hub, is designed to fix these frustrating problems quickly and reliably.
When to use it:
QuickBooks freezes or crashes during print jobs. Blank or misformatted invoices. PDFs don’t open or link properly. “QuickBooks unable to create PDF” errors.
How it works:
Launch Tool Hub and go to the Printable Forms tab. Select the PDF and Print Repair Tool (sometimes labeled “Fix my printing problems”).
The tool resets the QuickBooks PDF rendering system, repairs the qbprint.qbp driver, and reinstalls related components.
Restart both QuickBooks and your PC afterward.
Given the complexity of PDF rendering, it isn’t uncommon for this single tool to fix printing problems for weeks or months.
