I recently traveled to San Diego from San José using Spirit Airlines and was pleasantly surprised by the overall airport experience. The Spirit Airlines SJC Terminal offers a smooth and organized process, especially for budget travelers who value efficiency over frills. I arrived about two hours before departure and quickly made my way through the self-service kiosk. The bag drop was simple, and staff were attentive and friendly. The terminal itself is well maintained, and security lines were shorter than I expected. I found several charging stations and a couple of decent food options near the gate. Boarding was prompt, and the flight crew remained professional throughout. For such a low-cost carrier, Spirit really delivered on value. Travelers should come prepared for additional fees, but the terminal experience itself is clean, easy to navigate, and stress-free. The seating areas were comfortable, and there was clear communication from the airline regarding boarding groups. For those seeking no-nonsense, affordable air travel, this terminal does a great job. Overall, I would fly Spirit again from San José without hesitation. It’s a solid experience from check-in to takeoff.
