Hey everyone,
I’ve been getting back into bass fishing now that the weather's warmed up, and I’m looking for some advice on the best live bait to use during the hotter parts of the day.
I usually fish in freshwater lakes around the area, and I’ve had some success with nightcrawlers and shiners in the past. But lately, it feels like the bass are being a bit more selective. I know water temperature can affect their feeding behavior, so I’m wondering:
What live bait works best for you during the summer heat?
Do you change bait types depending on time of day (morning vs afternoon)? google baseball Any tips on bait presentation or setup that work well in warmer water?
Appreciate any insight or local knowledge. Trying to up my game a bit this season!
Thanks in advance,
