Hey everyone,
I recently flew with Air France and wanted to share a quick heads-up for anyone planning international travel. The Air France International Baggage Allowance really depends on your ticket type, and not knowing the difference can cost you at the airport.
For example, the Economy Light fare doesn’t include any checked baggage—only a carry-on and a personal item. Economy Standard gives you one 23kg checked bag, while Premium Economy and Business Class offer even more. If you’re not careful, you could end up paying extra fees for baggage you thought was included.
I found it super helpful to check everything on AirlinesTicketOffice before booking. They clearly show the baggage policy for each fare, which saved me from booking the wrong one. It’s also worth noting that Air France can be strict at the gate with carry-on weight, so make sure your bags meet their requirements.
If you’ve flown with them recently, how was your experience with their baggage policy? Were they flexible or strict at check-in? Let’s help each other avoid surprises!
Safe travels!
