The process for downloading and installing ringtones on your iPhone is a little more rigid than on Android, as Apple uses a specific file format (.m4r). The most common and easiest method involves using a computer à https://sonnerietelephone.org/categorie/sonnerie-iphone/
Step 1: Create your free ringtone (on computer) To begin, you must have an audio file you want to turn into a ringtone. The ringtone must be in .m4r format and must be no longer than 30 seconds.
Use iTunes or the Music app: Open iTunes (or the Music app if you're using a newer Mac) and import your audio file.
Set the start and end points: Right-click the song, select "Song Info," then go to the "Options" tab. Check the "Start" and "End" boxes and set a duration of up to 30 seconds.
Convert the file: Right-click the song and select "File" > "Convert" > "Create AAC Version." This will create a 30-second version of the song.
Change the file extension: Locate the AAC (.m4a) file on your computer. Rename it from .m4a to .m4r.
Step 2: Transfer the ringtone to your iPhone Once your .m4r file is created, you need to transfer it to your iPhone.
Connect your iPhone to your computer: Use a USB cable to connect your phone.
Open iTunes or Finder: The program should detect your iPhone.
Transfer the file: Drag your .m4r file to the "Sounds" section of your iPhone. In iTunes, this section is located in the sidebar below your device. In Finder, it's accessible via the "Sounds" tab.
Step 3: Set the ringtone on your iPhone The hardest part is done! Now all that's left is to activate it on your phone.
Access Settings: On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
Select sounds: Go to "Sounds & Vibration" (or "Sounds & Haptics").
Choose your ringtone: Tap "Ringtone." Your custom ringtone will appear at the top of the list, above the default ringtones.
Activate it: Select it to become your new ringtone.
