Finding a jacket size is one of the hardest things to do, and this is particularly true when you are doing internet shopping. To start with, measure your shoulder, sleeves, and chest. Once measured, compare it to the corresponding size chart of the brand. To illustrate, say you are purchasing a slim-fit men's jacket; ensure you give it an inch more space in which to layer without losing that fitted appearance. Slim-fit is trimmed to the body; thus, when you are between sizes, it may be a good idea to buy a larger size. Also, think about your build, broad shoulders or torso can make it impact on what the perfect fit can really get translated to.
