Hi folks,
I’m hoping to get some advice or recommendations on finding good speech therapy options for both a child and an adult in my family.
My nephew has recently been recommended for pediatric speech therapy to help with some articulation and language delays. We’d prefer in-person sessions if possible, so I’ve been looking for speech therapy near me nj — we’re in the Essex County area, but open to nearby towns too.
On the flip side, my aunt is looking into speech therapy for adults. She’s having some speech challenges after surgery and wants to regain confidence in everyday conversations. So we’re searching for someone experienced in adult rehabilitation as well.
We’ve also come across a few online speech therapy platforms that seem to offer both pediatric and adult services. The convenience is great, but I’d love to know if online sessions are truly effective — especially for younger kids who might have shorter attention spans.
If anyone here has experience with speech therapy (either online or local to NJ), I’d really appreciate your insights or suggestions. Personal experiences, names of therapists, or even places to avoid — anything helps.
Thanks so much in advance!
