The lifespan of clear PPF film depends on factors like quality, installation, and maintenance. Typically, premium films last 5 to 10 years or even longer when properly cared for. High-end PPFs are UV-resistant, non-yellowing, and designed to endure harsh weather conditions. Regular washing, avoiding abrasive chemicals, and using safe drying techniques can extend longevity. Parking under shade and occasional detailing also help maintain clarity and performance. Over time, PPF may slightly degrade due to environmental exposure, but it remains far superior to unprotected paint. When it does reach the end of its lifespan, it can be safely removed without damaging the original finish, revealing pristine paint underneath.
