To get admission for BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) in Bangalore/Bengaluru, candidates must have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, or state board) in any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts). Most colleges require a minimum aggregate of 45%–50% marks in Class 12, with relaxation for reserved categories as per norms. Some institutions may also prefer or require Mathematics or Computer Science at the 10+2 level. Admission can be merit-based or via entrance exams/interviews depending on the college.
