Filitra 20 mg contains vardenafil, a PDE5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Its effectiveness in men with a spinal cord injury (SCI) depends on the level and severity of the injury, because erectile function is controlled by nerve pathways that may be partially or fully impaired.

Filitra 20 mg is generally well tolerated, with side effects including headache, flushing, dizziness, nasal congestion, or indigestion. Severe effects, such as prolonged erections (priapism), vision changes, or chest pain, require immediate medical attention.
Doctors often recommend starting with lower doses and monitoring response in SCI patients. Combining Filitra with other therapies, such as vacuum erection devices or penile injections, may improve outcomes.
