I’ve been seeing this question pop up a lot in different forums and groups, and honestly, I asked myself the same thing when I first started. Every time I hear someone talk about igaming ppc, the next sentence is usually about an account getting banned, ads rejected, or a payment profile suddenly disabled. It makes you wonder if anyone is actually running these campaigns long term without constant stress.

When I first tried getting into iGaming ads, I thought it would be similar to other niches. You set up a campaign, write clean ads, follow the rules, and you’re good to go. That assumption didn’t last long. Within weeks, I had ads disapproved for vague reasons, accounts flagged with no clear explanation, and a general feeling that I was walking on thin ice all the time.

The biggest pain point for me wasn’t even losing money. It was the uncertainty. You could spend days setting things up, testing keywords, and tweaking ads, only to wake up and see everything shut down. A few friends in the same space were dealing with the same thing. Some quit completely, and others kept opening new accounts, which honestly just made things worse.

At some point, I realized that most bans weren’t random. They usually came from small mistakes adding up. Things like sending traffic directly to a gambling page, using risky words in ad copy, or ignoring country specific rules. I also noticed that people who complained the most were often trying to rush results instead of building things slowly.

One thing that helped me was spending time reading how others structured their setups, especially those who had accounts running for months. I came across a breakdown on igaming ppc marketing that didn’t feel salesy and actually focused on process. It made me rethink how I was approaching the whole thing.

Instead of pushing straight to offers, I started using softer pages. Nothing fancy, just informational content that explained games, bonuses, or basic tips. That alone reduced a lot of rejections. It felt slower, but it also felt safer. I stopped trying to squeeze conversions from day one and focused more on keeping the account healthy.

Another thing I learned the hard way was to avoid copying ads from competitors. It’s tempting, especially when you see someone ranking for the same keywords. But those ads might already be flagged internally, even if they’re still live. Writing simple, neutral copy worked better for me than anything clever or aggressive.

Payments and account history also mattered more than I expected. New accounts with sudden high spend seemed to trigger issues faster. Once I slowed down budgets and let campaigns age naturally, things became more stable. It wasn’t exciting, but stability in igaming ppc is kind of a win on its own.

I’m not saying this approach makes you immune to bans. This niche will always be sensitive, and platforms change rules without much notice. But shifting my mindset from quick wins to long term survival made a big difference. I stopped chasing loopholes and started respecting the limits, even when they felt annoying.

If you’re struggling with banned accounts, you’re definitely not alone. Most people in this space have been there at least once. From what I’ve seen, the ones who last aren’t smarter, they’re just more patient. They test slowly, keep things clean, and accept that growth in iGaming ads is usually gradual.

I’m still learning, and I still get the occasional rejection, but it no longer feels like everything could disappear overnight. For me, that peace of mind was worth more than fast results. If you’re getting started or already burned a few accounts, maybe slowing down and simplifying your setup is a good place to begin.
