Fildena 25 mg contains sildenafil citrate, a medication commonly prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Visual disturbances are a known but uncommon side effect of sildenafil, especially at higher doses. When visual disturbances do occur, they may include blurred vision, increased sensitivity to light, difficulty distinguishing between blue and green colors, or mild visual haze. In most cases, these changes are mild, short-lived, and reversible, resolving as the medication leaves the body.
Serious vision problems, such as sudden vision loss or non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), are extremely rare. However, the risk may be higher in men with conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or a history of eye disorders.
