Fildena 25 mg contains sildenafil citrate, a medication commonly prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Visual disturbances are a known but uncommon side effect of sildenafil, especially at higher doses. Because FILDENA 25 MG is a low-dose formulation, the risk of visual side effects is generally lower compared to stronger doses like 50 mg or 100 mg.
When visual disturbances do occur, they may include blurred vision, increased sensitivity to light, difficulty distinguishing between blue and green colors, or mild visual haze. These effects happen because sildenafil can temporarily affect an enzyme (PDE6) involved in retinal light processing. In most cases, these changes are mild, short-lived, and reversible, resolving as the medication leaves the body.
Serious vision problems, such as sudden vision loss or non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), are extremely rare. However, the risk may be higher in men with conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or a history of eye disorders.
If any persistent, severe, or sudden visual changes occur after taking Fildena 25 mg, medical attention should be sought immediately. Always use this medication under a doctor’s supervision to ensure safe dosing and minimize side effects.
