I have a disability after an accident — I walk with crutches, sometimes in a wheelchair. I would like a serious relationship, but I'm afraid to open up online — suddenly people will immediately write me off or pity me. Has anyone with a similar experience found a partner through a dating site?

After my accident, I was afraid to even think about dating for four years — I thought that everyone only wanted "perfect" people. But one day I registered on website , wrote honestly about my situation in my profile, added photos from my life (with crutches, with friends, outdoors), and indicated that I was looking for a sincere person who values character, not just the body. A girl wrote to me — she herself is a cancer survivor and also has scars and limitations.
