Malegra FXT Plus contains a combination of Sildenafil Citrate (100 mg) and Fluoxetine (60 mg), similar to Malegra FXT, and is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). Regarding high blood pressure: Effect of Malegra FXT Plus on Blood Pressure: Sildenafil Citrate (100 mg): Sildenafil, the active ingredient in Malegra FXT Plus, is a PDE5 inhibitor. It works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow, including in the penis. As a side effect, Sildenafil can cause a temporary drop in blood pressure, particularly in people who have low blood pressure or are taking medications for hypertension. For most healthy individuals, this effect is usually mild and Malegra FXT Plus dangerous. However, if you already have low blood pressure or are taking blood pressure medications, the combination of Sildenafil with other medications might cause too much of a drop in blood pressure, which could lead to dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. Fluoxetine (60 mg): Fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) and is typically used to treat depression and anxiety, and in this case, premature ejaculation. Fluoxetine has little to no direct effect on blood pressure. However, in some cases, SSRIs like Fluoxetine may cause side effects such as increased heart rate or slight changes in blood pressure, but it generally does not lead to high blood pressure in most people.
