I’ve been wondering how common it is now for people to check someone’s online presence before meeting them in real life, especially in dating apps. I heard about something called teachecker, which is supposed to show if a person appears on certain dating-related platforms or discussions. With so many fake profiles and online risks these days, it feels like people are trying different ways to feel safe—but I’m not sure if tools like this are actually reliable or just something people try out of curiosity.
