Before leaving your job do a calculation on the amount you require per month. This will take care of all your bills, rent/ mortgage and food. Although it is a relief that you will not be required to make as much as you made in your previous job, it would be a good idea to start saving just in case. The most useful thing will be to give yourself a buffer of money, the Freelance Platforms Slow Growth and they will need to spend several months to launch something, and knowing you have some money to spare will help to reduce the process stress.
