I need some help from anyone who owns an Alfa here because I'm honestly stuck. My Giulietta has been making this weird clicking noise from the engine whenever I idle for more than a minute, and my usual garage said they can't even connect their computer to it. I called the dealership and nearly fell off my chair when they told me the price just for a basic inspection, so that's not happening. I've been searching online and asking around, but most places either say "bring it in we'll check" without any confidence, or they admit they don't see many Alfas. This is my daily driver and I can't afford to have it sitting in some workshop for weeks while they figure things out. Has anyone actually found a reliable place that knows these cars well? I'm looking for proper Alfa Romeo repair service in Dubai where the mechanics understand the electronics and don't treat every noise like it needs a full engine rebuild. Do you just pay the dealer prices or is there a hidden gem somewhere that specializes in Italian cars without charging a fortune? Really hoping someone can point me in the right direction before I end up making a bad decision. Thanks in advance.
