Hey everyone. I’ve been thinking about adding some kind of protective film to my windows, especially after hearing about break-ins in my area. But I don’t really understand how effective these films are in real life. Some sites make it sound too perfect, others barely explain anything. I just want something practical that actually improves safety, not just marketing promises. Has anyone looked into this or found a decent place to learn more?

I had the same questions recently and tried to figure it out myself. At some point I found https://www.tintfit.com/shop/safety-security and went through their section on safety films. What I liked is that they explain things in a more down-to-earth way, without overhyping it. It helped me understand how the film can hold glass together and add an extra layer of protection. I’m still deciding, but at least now the whole idea makes more sense. Might be useful for you too if you just want clear info before making a decision.
