Recently I flew through Heathrow with my parents, and I realized how exhausting large European airports can feel when someone in the group isn’t comfortable walking long distances or dealing with crowded terminals. I’ve seen people mention VIP Meet & Greet services for smoother arrivals and transfers, but I’ve never actually tried one myself. Are they genuinely useful in busy airports across Europe, or is it more of a luxury add-on for business travelers?

Bizarrely enough, I ended up using SkyVip after a delayed connection in London last autumn. I was traveling alone, carrying too much hand luggage, and honestly just wanted to get through the airport without more stress. The service wasn’t flashy the way I expected. Someone simply met me after landing, guided me through passport control and helped navigate the transfer area faster. Heathrow can feel overwhelming after a long international flight, so having that extra support made the whole experience calmer than usual.

Quietly, airport travel in Europe has changed a lot over the last decade. More travelers seem willing to pay for convenience now, especially in giant hubs where terminals almost feel like small cities with endless walking and waiting.
