Bioglandin injection contains alprostadil, a prostaglandin used to treat erectile dysfunction by improving blood flow to the penis. It works by directly relaxing blood vessels and increasing circulation, often used when oral ED medicines are not effective.
Vision-related effects are not among the most common side effects of BIOGLANDIN INJECTION, but in rare cases, some users may experience visual disturbances indirectly. These effects can occur shortly after administration if the medicine causes a drop in blood pressure. When blood pressure falls, reduced blood flow to the eyes or brain may lead to temporary symptoms such as blurred vision, light-headedness, or difficulty focusing.
If vision effects occur, they usually appear within minutes to a few hours after injection, especially if the dose is too high or if the person is sensitive to blood pressure changes. These symptoms are typically temporary and resolve as blood pressure stabilizes.
However, persistent vision problems are uncommon and should not be ignored. Sudden vision loss, severe blurring, or eye pain after using Bioglandin injection requires immediate medical attention, as it may indicate a serious reaction or an unrelated eye condition.
Patients with cardiovascular disease, low blood pressure, or those taking other vasodilators should be especially cautious, as they are at higher risk of circulation-related side effects. Proper dosing and medical supervision significantly reduce the chance of such complications.
