Cenforce and grapefruit do not mix well. Grapefruit can raise the amount of sildenafil in your bloodstream, which may increase side effects like headache, flushing, dizziness, fast heartbeat, and a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

The reason is that grapefruit blocks the CYP3A4 enzyme in the gut and liver, and that enzyme normally helps break down sildenafil. When the enzyme is blocked, more of the medicine stays active for longer, so the effect can become stronger than intended.

The safest choice is to avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while using CENFORCE. If you have already had grapefruit, some guidance suggests waiting at least 24 hours before taking sildenafil, though avoiding the fruit entirely is safer.

This interaction matters more if you already take blood-pressure medicines, nitrates, or other drugs that can lower blood pressure, because the combined effect can be much stronger. It can also raise the chance of dizziness or fainting, especially in men with heart issues.

In simple terms, grapefruit can make Cenforce hit harder and last longer, but that does not make it safer. It mainly increases the risk of unwanted side effects and should be avoided.
