Silditop 100 mg is a brand of sildenafil citrate, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Sildenafil belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, which work by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.
Silditop is available in several variants, including tablets, oral jelly, and soft gels. The duration of effect can vary slightly depending on the formulation, absorption rate, and individual metabolism.
Tablet form: Standard 100 mg tablets are absorbed through the digestive system. They typically take 30–60 minutes to start working and can last up to 4–5 hours.
Oral jelly or soft gel: These formulations are absorbed faster because they enter the bloodstream directly from the mouth, often producing effects within 15–30 minutes. However, their total duration is generally similar to tablets, around 4–5 hours.
Extended-release formulations (if available under the Silditop brand) may last longer, sometimes up to 6 hours, because the drug is released gradually into the bloodstream.
In general, the longest-lasting SILDITOP 100 MG variant is usually the standard tablet or any extended-release version, as faster-absorbing forms like oral jelly act quicker but do not significantly extend the total duration of effect.
It is important to remember that sexual stimulation is required for the medication to work, and taking more than the recommended dose does not increase duration and can increase the risk of side effects such as headache, flushing, dizziness, low blood pressure, or priapism.
Silditop 100 mg should only be used under medical supervision, especially in men with heart conditions, low blood pressure, or liver/kidney impairment.
