Hey everyone,
I've been obsessing over this piece since the 2026 World Cup opening ceremony dropped and the internet collectively lost its mind over it. If you haven't seen it yet the Mexico x Willy Chavarria Track Jacket from the Adidas Originals collaboration is hands down one of the most stylish football-inspired pieces I've ever come across, and I say that as someone who's been collecting fan jackets for years. For those not familiar, Willy Chavarria is a New York-based Chicano designer whose entire brand is built around Mexican-American heritage, identity, and culture. His collab with Adidas for the 2026 FIFA World Cup — titled "Comienza Con El Sueño" (It Begins With the Dream) — was an absolute masterpiece. The collection debuted on the world stage when it was modeled at the Estadio Azteca on opening day, and honestly it felt less like a merch drop and more like a legit high-fashion moment at a football tournament. That white and black colorway, the oversized silhouette, the signature embroidery — it's a collector's item as much as it is a wearable jacket. The problem? The original Adidas x Willy Chavarria pieces sold out almost immediately. Typical. After a lot of searching, I found what I was looking for over at All American Jacket. They carry a recreation of the mexico x willy chavarria track jacket, zipper fastening, stand-up collar, elastic cuffs, white and black colorway. It's a really solid recreation that captures the aesthetic of the original without the impossible-to-find price tag.
