Malegra Oral Jelly contains sildenafil citrate, a medicine that relaxes blood vessels by increasing blood flow. It helps with erectile dysfunction, but that same effect is why it can become dangerous with certain other medicines. The main problem is that some drugs either drop blood pressure too much when combined with sildenafil or interfere with how it is broken down in the body. 1) Dangerous drop in blood pressure (most important) Sildenafil already lowers blood pressure slightly. If combined with other strong blood-pressure–lowering drugs, the effect can become excessive, leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart risk. Nitrates (used for chest pain/angina) like nitroglycerin or isosorbide ? Malegra Oral Jelly not allowed Riociguat (for pulmonary hypertension) ? also contraindicated This combination can cause a sudden, severe fall in blood pressure. 2) Alpha-blockers (prostate/BP medicines) Drugs like tamsulosin or doxazosin can also lower blood pressure. When combined, you may get: lightheadedness fainting when standing up weakness Doctors sometimes allow both, but only with careful dose adjustment. 3) Medicines that increase sildenafil levels Some drugs slow down how your liver breaks down sildenafil, making its effect stronger and longer than intended: Certain antifungals (like ketoconazole) Some antibiotics (like erythromycin) HIV medicines (protease inhibitors) This increases the risk of side effects like headache, flushing, and low blood pressure. 4) Other blood pressure–lowering drugs If you are already on antihypertensives, the combined effect may be additive.
