I’ve been considering buying a new jacket and keep seeing Top grain leather mentioned as a solid option. From what I’ve read, it offers a smooth, polished look and is supposed to be quite durable compared to lower-grade leather. It also seems easier to maintain, which is a big plus for everyday wear.
However, I’m still unsure how it performs in the long run. Does top grain leather age well, or does it lose its appeal over time? I know full-grain leather develops a natural patina, but I’m curious if top grain holds up just as nicely in its own way.
If anyone here has experience using top grain leather jackets or accessories, I’d really appreciate your feedback. Is it worth the investment, and how does it feel after regular use?
