Vilitra 10 contains Vardenafil and is prescribed for the treatment of Erectile dysfunction in adult men. It helps men who have difficulty getting or maintaining an erection sufficient for sexual activity. It is typically prescribed when: A man has been diagnosed with erectile dysfunction. There are no medical reasons that make PDE-5 inhibitors unsafe (such as taking nitrate medications). A clinician determines that 10 mg is an appropriate starting or maintenance dose based on age, overall health, other medications, and response to treatment. How it works Vardenafil relaxes Vilitra 10 vessels and increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It only works when a man is sexually aroused; it does not cause an automatic erection. How it's usually taken Take one tablet about 25–60 minutes before sexual activity. Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours. The effects typically last about 4–5 hours, although this varies between individuals. Common side effects Headache Flushing Stuffy or runny nose Indigestion Dizziness Important precautions Do not take Vilitra 10 if you: Use nitrate medications (such as nitroglycerin). Have been advised to avoid sexual activity because of certain heart conditions. Are taking medications that may interact with vardenafil, unless your healthcare professional has reviewed them.
