Vidalista (which contains tadalafil) can often be taken with antibiotics, but it depends on which antibiotic you are using. Some antibiotics can increase tadalafil levels in your body, raising the risk of side effects such as headache, flushing, dizziness, low blood pressure, and prolonged erections. Antibiotics that may interact with Vidalista Some antibiotics can slow the breakdown of tadalafil by affecting the CYP3A4 enzyme, including: Clarithromycin Erythromycin If you are prescribed one of these, your healthcare provider may recommend a lower tadalafil dose or closer monitoring. Antibiotics with little or no significant interaction Many commonly used antibiotics are not known to have Vidalista important interactions with tadalafil, including: Amoxicillin Cephalexin Doxycycline (generally considered low risk for interaction) Precautions Tell your healthcare provider about all medicines you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and supplements. Avoid taking Vidalista with nitrate medications or riociguat, as this combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. If you experience chest pain, severe dizziness, fainting, or an erection lasting more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention.
