Poxet 30 mg (dapoxetine) can be used over the longer term if it continues to be effective, is well tolerated, and is taken under a doctor's supervision. It is not intended for daily continuous use unless specifically prescribed. Instead, it is usually taken on demand, about 1–3 hours before sexual activity, with no more than one dose in 24 hours. Clinical studies have shown that dapoxetine remained generally well tolerated during up to 9 months of on-demand use, with no major new safety concerns identified. However, because long-term data beyond about 24 weeks to 9 months are limited, healthcare providers recommend periodically reassessing whether treatment is still appropriate. Common side effects Poxet 30 mg Nausea Dizziness or lightheadedness Headache Diarrhea Trouble sleeping (occasionally) These side effects are usually mild and tend to occur more often when starting treatment or with higher doses. Your doctor should review your treatment: After the first 4 weeks or about 6 doses. Then at least every 6 months if you continue taking it. You should avoid Poxet or seek medical advice first if you: Have significant heart disease or a history of fainting. Have moderate or severe liver disease. Take antidepressants (SSRIs, MAOIs), certain antifungal medications, or other medicines that interact with dapoxetine. Experience severe dizziness, fainting, or mood changes while using it. If you're taking Poxet 30 mg together with an erectile dysfunction medication such as tadalafil or sildenafil, let me know which one and its dose. I can explain whether that combination is generally considered safe and what precautions to take.
