I’ve been working on making my training routine more consistent, and one thing I’ve learned is that progress is not just about lifting heavier. Proper nutrition, enough protein, good sleep, hydration, and recovery all seem to make a noticeable difference over time.
While looking into amino acids for muscle building, I found a lot of different opinions about supplements. It seems more useful to understand your overall protein intake first and then decide whether an amino acid product actually adds value to your routine.
I prefer keeping things simple by focusing on regular protein-rich meals and a structured resistance-training plan. Supplements can be convenient around workouts, but I don’t think they should replace a balanced diet or proper recovery.
What has worked best for others here? Do you mainly rely on whole-food protein sources, or have you found protein or amino acid supplements useful for supporting your training goals?
