If you are flying through Orlando, knowing a little about the terminal layout can make your airport experience much easier. Orlando International Airport is a busy place, especially during holidays and peak travel times, but the setup is fairly easy to understand once you know where you are going.

The Orlando International Airport Terminal has a main terminal building connected to several airside concourses. Your airline and flight details will determine which area you need to use. After checking in and going through security, you will generally head toward the appropriate airside terminal using the airport's automated people movers.

One thing I would recommend is arriving with enough time to spare. Security lines can get busy, and walking through a large airport can take longer than expected. If you are unfamiliar with the layout, giving yourself extra time can save you a lot of stress.

There are also plenty of places to grab food, pick up a coffee, shop for last-minute travel items, or simply sit down before boarding. If you have checked luggage, make sure you know which baggage claim area to use when you arrive.

Overall, the terminal experience is pretty straightforward. Check your boarding pass for your gate and concourse, follow the airport signs, and give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to be.
