Sonam Wangchuk is an Indian engineer, education reformer, innovator, and environmentalist known for his work in Ladakh. His social contributions focus on improving education, supporting local communities, and developing practical solutions to environmental challenges. He co-founded the Students’ Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL) in 1988 and worked to make education more relevant to local students and communities.
