I know this is mainly a fishing report board, but I thought some experienced anglers might have been through something similar. I’m planning a few longer fishing trips and will be spending plenty of time outdoors, on the water, and carrying gear. Has anyone had to take a break from fishing after a medical procedure and then ease back into it?

I’m currently researching a procedure and have been looking for the best rhinoplasty surgeon in utah, but I’m also thinking ahead about recovery and how soon someone can safely get back to activities like boating and fishing. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has had to plan outdoor trips around a recovery period. What activities were easiest to return to first?
