Vidalista 80 mg contains tadalafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor. It works by helping blood vessels relax and increasing blood flow. For an erection, the process is roughly: Sexual stimulation causes release of nitric oxide (NO). NO increases cGMP, which relaxes blood vessels in the penis. Tadalafil blocks PDE-5, an enzyme that breaks down cGMP. cGMP stays active longer, allowing more blood into the penis and making it easier to get and maintain an erection. About the 80 mg strength Vidalista 80 mg is much higher than the usual tadalafil dose for erectile dysfunction. Typical on-demand dosing is 10 mg, adjusted to 20 mg if needed; tadalafil is generally not taken more than once a day. A higher dose doesn't necessarily produce a better or longer-lasting erection but can increase side effects. Tadalafil can start working in roughly 30–60 minutes and may remain effective for up to 36 hours. It doesn't cause a continuous erection—you still need sexual stimulation. Do not take tadalafil with nitrate medicines (such as nitroglycerin/GTN or isosorbide), and don't combine it with sildenafil/Cenforce or other ED medicines unless a doctor has instructed you to. If you've already taken Vidalista 80 mg, tell me when you took it and whether you're having any symptoms, and I can tell you what to watch for.
