Windows quick startup is yet another name for the Windows Fast Startup option. It helps make booting of the machine faster after its shut down. This function uses hibernation technology that enables it to store some of the system information on the hard disk, and then Windows will use it when booting next time. Even though this option is helpful, it may not be suitable for all computers. Some users have encountered issues such as difficulties in accessing the shared drives or some of the hardware components after the shutdown. If that happens, try clicking on the Restart button in the Start menu for a regular boot.
