Silagra 100 mg contains sildenafil, a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Its dose may need to be lowered or adjusted depending on your health, other medicines, side effects, and how well it works. 1mg +1 When should the dose be adjusted? Side effects occur: If you experience headaches, flushing, dizziness, indigestion, or visual disturbances, your doctor may reduce the dose to 50 mg or 25 mg. Age over 65: A lower starting dose, often 25 mg, may be appropriate, particularly if other risk factors are present. Kidney or liver disease: A Silagra 100 Mg starting dose may be needed because sildenafil can remain in your body longer. Other medicines: Some antibiotics, antifungals, HIV medicines, and alpha-blockers can increase side effects or lower blood pressure, requiring dose adjustment. Insufficient effect: If 100 mg is ineffective, do not increase the dose further. Your doctor should assess how and when you take it and whether another cause is involved. DailyMed +1 Important safety precautions Do not take more than 100 mg in 24 hours, and do not take sildenafil more than once daily. Never combine it with nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, or with recreational nitrites (“poppers”), because blood pressure can drop dangerously. Seek emergency care for chest pain, sudden loss of vision or hearing, or an erection lasting more than four hours.
