Crossroads Bait and Tackle Fish Report > Getting itchy
Getting itchy

Feb 27, 2010

I know most of you that subscribe are saltwater fisherman however if you want to catch something worth fighting in the winter while the boats are wrapped try some Northern Pike ice fishing in Colchester. I just got back and we had good action all day with a 14 pounder coming thru the hole. We had one bigger on but it cut off our doubled up 30lb Flourocarbon. If you don't know where to go up there just go to Dockside North and those guys will point you in the right direction and provide you with some nice pike bait.

Tuna- In the offseason we should be studyng our target and in my own research I found something I suggest any angler comercial or recreational should check out. The first Seminar by Dr. Rebecca Lent shows how complicated the preservation of a migritory species that visits multiple nations can be. She focuses on Tuna. Check it out at

our early season orders start coming in this week and we start opening back up no set hours yet but simply call me and I will be there at any time if someone wants to come by.978-499-8999
if no answer leave message i will get back to you
