The Striper action has slowed down a little bit in the river, however there are still plenty of fish coming in. Live mackeral and trolling is working very well. Flounder fishing has been excelent and the blue fish are here. Most of the blues fish are staying outside the mouth in the deeper water. The mackeral are still around but will become harder to find with the bluefish now on the chase. Joppa Flats at night is still producing some big fish at night but after being so spoiled last year it is seeming like we are working very hard for our fish. Back to reality. The tuna bite has exploded up at Boone Island, and guys are catching live herring up there 5 at a time. Cod and Haddock are coming in but some days you just have to fish through the dogfish to get them. Last trip we had a lot of action catching some nice cod and haddock, couple pollock and a bunch of dogs.
